Matteo Maspoli is a doctoral student co-supervised by Dr. James Bonaiuto of the Decision, Action and Neural Computation (DANC) lab and Dr. Mathilde Bonnefond of the Computation, Cognition and Neurophysiology (COPHY) team. Before his current role, he earned his master’s degree from the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) in Italy, where he worked with Dr. Christoph Huber-Huber and Dr. Richard Schweitzer. He also holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in logic and philosophy of science. His doctoral research focuses on analyzing MEG and intracranial (iEEG) data from glioblastoma patients with the aim to study attention deployment, perturbation in alpha band activity, and validate high-precision laminar MEG methods.
